The government's recent loan modification plan is a temporary fix. After 5 years you are once again at the bank's and lender's mercy and they will have the right to renegotiate your loan at any term or rate they desire. Investors and second homeowners are not eligible for any assistance at this time. At Ameritrust Solutions our approved modifications are permanent 30 to 40 year fixed rates. We are able to successfully represent investors and second homeowners looking to secure better terms for their existing loans and obtain principal reductions.
