Our CEO, Pete Justen, knows firsthand the emotional toll of navigating government benefit programs.
When his mother needed Medicaid, what should have been a straightforward process became a four-month ordeal filled with uncertainty, stress, and frustration. Every morning, she would call him, anxious and desperate for an update—wondering if she’d been approved, if she could afford the care she needed, if she’d slipped through the cracks of the system. Watching his mother endure this unnecessary hardship, Pete knew something had to change.
